The team is fully certified through the Equine Psychotherapy Institute (EPI), ensuring a professional and ethical approach to their practice. What to Expect No Prior Horse Experience Needed: Clients do not require any previous experience with horses. The team provides guidance and support to help individuals work with the horses in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them. Sessions are Ground-Based: Equine Assisted Therapy sessions are primarily conducted on the ground, fostering a connection with the horses without riding. However, mounted experiences can be offered when suitable for achieving specific therapeutic and learning goals. Planning Your Visit What to Wear: Participants must wear safe, fully enclosed footwear. They should also come prepared with sun-safe clothing, including a hat, and appropriate attire for the weather, such as a warm jacket or raincoat. What to Bring: Clients are asked to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during their session. Cancellations: The clinic appreciates as much notice as possible for any cancellations, asking clients to inform them as soon as they can. NDIS Participants Arrow Equine Assisted Therapy & Counselling can provide services for both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants.

The practice works with individuals aged 18 and over, providing Mental Health Recovery Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Group Therapy. The Hub specialises in providing support for a range of issues, including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, work-related issues, relationship struggles, loneliness, difficulty with finding purpose in life, and other psychosocial stressors. Please note that services are not eligible for Medicare or private healthcare rebates. To schedule a session, clients are asked to call the Hub for an appointment.
