Compliance & Quality Standards

Listing Rules & Guidelines

Ensure your therapy practice listing meets our quality standards and complies with Australian advertising laws. These guidelines help maintain trust and integrity across our platform.

Effective Date: 3/MAY/2025

These rules are designed to ensure that all listings on our website are accurate, truthful, visually appealing, and compliant with Australian advertising laws. By listing your services with us, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in the removal of your listing(s), until you update them.

1. No False or Exaggerated Claims

Prohibited Claims:

You must not make any claims that are false, misleading, or deceptive. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. 1.Claims that your therapy can "heal" or "cure" any specific illness or condition. For example, instead of saying "Cures arthritis," you could say "May help manage discomfort associated with arthritis."
  2. 2.Claims of a "100% guarantee" of results. Outcomes can vary between individuals, and such guarantees are generally not permissible.
  3. 3.Exaggerated claims about the efficacy or benefits of your services that are not supported by credible evidence. Avoid superlatives like "the best" or "most effective" without substantial proof.
  4. 4.Statements that directly or indirectly contradict established scientific or medical knowledge.

Permitted Claims:

You can make factual statements about the services you offer, your qualifications, and your experience. You can also describe potential benefits in a cautious and realistic manner, using phrases like "may assist with," "can help to," or "supports the body's natural processes."

2. Therapeutic Service-Based Advertising Only

No Product Advertising: Listings are strictly for the advertisement of therapy services only. You cannot use your listing to promote or sell any products, including supplements, herbal remedies, or equipment.
Focus on Expertise: Your listing should clearly outline the types of therapies you offer and the skills and expertise you bring to those services.
No Sensual or Sexual Services: Your listing should clearly be therapy based, sensual or sexual service providers will be removed.

3. Primary Focus on Human Services

Human Clients First: The primary focus of your listing must be on services offered to human clients.
Animal Availability Mention: You may include a brief mention that your services are also available to animals (e.g., "Also offering animal therapies"). However, this should not be the primary focus or take up a significant portion of your listing.

4. Accurate Pricing

Clear and Complete Pricing: All pricing information must be accurate, clearly stated, and inclusive of any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).
No Hidden Fees: Do not include any hidden fees or charges that are not clearly disclosed in your listing.
Price Variations: If your pricing varies (e.g., based on session duration or type of therapy), you must clearly outline these variations. For example, "Initial consultation: $XX, Subsequent sessions: $YY per hour."

5. Up-to-Date Information

Responsibility for Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure that all information in your listing, including contact details, service descriptions, and pricing, is accurate and up-to-date.
Regular Review: You should regularly review and update your listing to reflect any changes in your services, pricing, or availability.

7. Qualification for Advertised Services

Practice Within Scope: Therapists may only advertise listings for services that they are appropriately qualified and trained to provide, in accordance with relevant Australian laws and any applicable professional standards or codes of conduct.
Misrepresenting Qualifications Prohibited: You must not misrepresent your qualifications, training, or experience in any way.
Evidence of Credentials: If you mention any specific qualifications, licenses, or professional clearances in your listing, we reserve the right to request that you provide evidence of these credentials for verification purposes.

8. Listing Differentiation for Subscribers

Maximum of Three Listings

Each subscriber is permitted to post a maximum of three (3) listings.

Significant Differences Required:

Different Categories: Listings should ideally be placed in different therapy categories offered on the website.
Different Titles: Each listing must have a unique and distinct title that accurately reflects the specific service being advertised.
Different Descriptions: The content of each listing's description must be substantially different, highlighting the unique aspects of the service being offered.
Avoid Duplication: Listings that are substantially similar in title, description, and category may be considered duplicates and may be removed.

9. Formatting Guidelines

No Excessive Capitalisation: Please refrain from using all capital letters in your listing titles and descriptions. While acronyms (e.g., GST, ABN) are permitted, excessive or unnecessary capitalisation is not allowed.
Readable Sentences: Information should be presented in clear, grammatically correct, and readable sentences. Avoid the use of long bullet point lists. Instead, integrate the information naturally within your description.
