Arrow Equine Assisted Therapy & Counselling
Arrow Equine Assisted Therapy & Counselling offers a range of services, including Equine Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy, alongside more traditional room and outdoor-based counselling. The team is fully certified through the Equine Psychotherapy Institute (EPI), ensuring a professional and ethical approach to their practice.
What to Expect
No Prior Horse Experience Needed: Clients do not require any previous experience with horses. The team provides guidance and support to help individuals work with the horses in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them.
Sessions are Ground-Based: Equine Assisted Therapy sessions are primarily conducted on the ground, fostering a connection with the horses without riding. However, mounted experiences can be offered when suitable for achieving specific therapeutic and learning goals.
Planning Your Visit
What to Wear: Participants must wear safe, fully enclosed footwear. They should also come prepared with sun-safe clothing, including a hat, and appropriate attire for the weather, such as a warm jacket or raincoat.
What to Bring: Clients are asked to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during their session.
Cancellations: The clinic appreciates as much notice as possible for any cancellations, asking clients to inform them as soon as they can.
NDIS Participants
Arrow Equine Assisted Therapy & Counselling can provide services for both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants.
